(Chicago, IL) — A federal jury is convicting former Illinois state Senator Annazette Collins of cheating on her taxes. The 61-year-old from Chicago was found guilty of four of six tax-related charges. She was convicted of filing two false tax returns and failing to file one personal tax return and a return for her lobbying firm. Her case is tied to the larger corruption investigation that led to the indictment of former Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan.
