Wednesday evening, Ottawa Police responded to a physical domestic battery call from 1449 Catherine Street where there was an alleged firearm displayed. 34-year-old Charletha Edwards was arrested on a domestic battery charge. Ottawa Police reportedly located a BB gun at the scene.

A significant police presence was seen on East McKinley Road in the Kroger parking lot and at the Windsor Crossing apartment complex further east on McKinley Road before 9:00 pm Wednesday. Unconfirmed reports indicate a narcotics search may have been involved, but no official reports have emerged.
