Charles “Mike” McGuire, 84, of Ottawa, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at his home.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa with Rev. Nicolas Wilson of Ottawa Catholic Parishes, officiating. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home.
Mike was born on August 7, 1939 in Gray, PA to Richard and Lola (Brown) McGuire. He was a Veteran of the US Army and later became a Design Engineer. Mike was a member of St. Columba Church. He enjoyed, painting, woodworking, and photography. Mike also liked to collect stamps and trains.
He is survived by three children, David (Paula Tumpack) McGuire of Lisle, IL, Robert (Ian Winsinger) McGuire of Chicago, and Christine (Mike Johnson) McGuire of Clinton, MI; a brother, Richard McGuire of Florida; a sister, Gladys McGuire of Michigan; and five step-grandchildren, Layton, Matthew, Brandon, David, and Daniel.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Diane.
