Billy Joel Debuts First New Song In Decades

(New York, NY) — Billy Joel’s first new song in nearly 20 years is out this morning. “Turn the Lights Back On” is Joel’s first new single since 2007’s “All My Life.” Joel teased it at Madison Square Garden last month, telling the crowd he was working on “a little something.” Some Billy Joel fans who got a sneak preview of the song said the Piano Man “sounds as good as ever.” Joel also says he will perform his new song at his residency at Madison Square Garden, which ends its ten-year run this July. In the meantime, Joel will also be performing at the Grammy Awards this Sunday.
