William “Bill” Ganiere, 70, of Ottawa, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024, at Pleasant View Lutheran Home in Ottawa.Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 7, at Ottawa Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. There will be a celebration of life at Splash & Go at a date to be announced.William was born August 8, 1953, in Ottawa, IL to Donald W. and Mildred (Seifert) Ganiere. He attended Marquette High School. He was a mechanic for well over 30 years and later was the owner of Bill’s Mobil Station. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and traveling to several of the different tracks. He was also the part owner of Splash & Go and thoroughly enjoyed running the bar. In his younger years, he was an avid Golfer. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church. He is survived by his brothers, Don (Mary) Ganiere and Tom Ganiere, and his two nephews, Don and Eric Ganiere.
