Candy Dubach, 55, of Ottawa, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Ottawa Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
Candy was born April 22, 1968, in Ottawa, IL the daughter of James and Sandra (Ernat) Hendrickson. She married David Dubach on May 1, 1992, in Ottawa, IL.
Candy worked in food service in the Georgia school system for over 20 years. She loved being with the kids and helping out. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed playing bingo, playing the slot machines, and going shopping any chance she got. She was extremely caring, loving, and overly giving. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her father, James Hendrickson; her husband, David Dubach; her children, Christopher Pumo and Brody (Valerie) Dubach; her grandchildren, Destiney and Zaden Martin; her siblings, Randy Payne, Cindy Baiz, James Hendrickson, and Samantha Alvarado; as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Hendrickson, and her siblings, Tammy Milam, William Payne, and Edward Payne.
