(Chicago, IL) — Holiday travelers are headed home, making their way to airports across the country. While fog was a factor yesterday, at Chicago’s Midway Airport traveler Erica Goodwin says she’s optimistic.
On Sunday, Southwest Airlines reported about 300 cancellations due to fog. As of the last check this morning, the flight tracking website FlightAware is reporting around 19 hundred delays and over 50 cancellations. Southwest says as they recover from weekend weather delays, there could be some more cancellations.
