The bridge over Prairie Creek closed over five years ago due to erosion of the concrete supporting the steel piles on the south abutment, rendering them unable to consistently bear the weight. Presently, the bridge remains closed to vehicle traffic with barriers in place, allowing only pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
