Porntip Sadkowski, 80, of Ottawa, IL

Porntip Sadkowski, 80, of Ottawa, IL, passed away on December 13th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Ottawa.

The funeral service will be on Monday the 18th at 6:00 PM at Ottawa Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3-6 PM  at Ottawa Funeral Home.

Porntip was born May 11, 1943, in Bangkok, Thailand, to Kvan  and St. Masta Sumran Sirikul.

She worked at OSF as a Cafeteria worker before retiring. Porntip served in the Thai Royal Air Force in Thailand. She was an avid Bingo player, enjoyed knitting, and also collected religious knick-knacks.  

Porntip loved her family deeply and cherished every moment spent alongside them.

She is survived by sons; Jason Popaj (Andrea Cottingim), Ronny Sadkowski, Tommy; daughters; Sandra Lagestee (Tad Lagestee), and Brisa Cuevas; sisters; Tippawan Sirikul; grandchildren; Brody, Adaline Popaj, Seth Cannon, Samantha, Alexa, Caleb, Marc Lagestee, Ryan, Taylor, Daniel Sadkowski, Amaiya, Cecilia Perez-Morales.

Porntip was preceded in death by her father, mother, and daughter.
