Georgiann Kobiella, 82, of Ottawa

Georgiann Kobiella, 82, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at her home with her family by her side.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 15th, from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Ottawa Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will take place at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Columba Cemetery.

Georgiann was born April 22, 1941, in Chicago, IL, to George and Jean (Babula) Hodum. She married Bradley Kobiella on November 11, 1961 in Lombard, Illinois. He passed away April 14, 2015.

She was extremely creative and loved coloring and doing crafts. She was also an extremely skilled baker and baked Christmas cookies by the thousand. She and Bradley liked to get in the car and take weekend trips and she was always very interested in CB/Ham Radio. She was also extremely giving, she’d help anyone in need and she and her husband took in many family and friends over the years.

She is survived by her sons, Mark (Angie) and Robert Kobiella; her grandchildren, Shanon and Ethan Kobiella; and her great granddaughter, Stormi Kobiella. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brother, Robert Hodum.
