The Illinois Department of Natural Resources recently announced two grants that will affect land located in Illinois House District 75, represented by Republican State Representative Jed Davis, in Yorkville.
The district was awarded $158,400 to the Illinois Association of Snowmobile Clubs, for snowmobile maintenance and operations, and $612,000 for the acquisition of The Cliffs, a set of off-highway vehicle trails in LaSalle County on Route 6 near Marseilles.
Open to dirt bikes, ATVs and UTVs, the park operates Friday through Sunday from 9am to 5pm during the summer and 9am to 4pm during the winter.
