We begin with the 14th Illinois Congressional District. At this time, incumbent Lauren Underwood, a Democrat, is running unopposed in the March 19th Democratic Primary.
In the Republican Primary race for the 14th Illinois Congressional District, Oswego businessman Jim Marter is running against Actress and Model Krystal Dorey, Entrepreneur Charlie Kim and Marine Veteran Matthew Liev. Jack Lombard II has dropped out of the race.
Below are the very basics of the platforms for Marter and Underwood, and in the latter case, some of her current achievements.
