La Salle County Board member Beth Findley-Smith has reason to be thankful this Thanksgiving. Prosecutors Thursday said they will no longer pursue the domestic battery case against Findley-Smith of Somonauk.
She was arrested by Peru Police last August at a home at 6th and Plain in Peru for domestic battery. Allegedly she splashed an unidentified person with a drink and an open-fisted slap.
