Wednesday at approximately 8:40 PM, 35-year-old Thomas Gage of Streator was stopped in the 400 block of Richards Street for a traffic violation. Gage was found to be in possession of over 22 Grams of Crack Cocaine. Gage was placed under arrest and subsequently charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Deliver, a Class X Felony. Gage is currently on Parole for the Manufacture and Delivery of Cocaine. Gage was transported to the Streator Police Department where he was booked and processed, and later transported to the LaSalle County Jail for a detention hearing.

Shortly after midnight, Oct. 10, Streator Police Officers responded to a simulcast (radio) call in the 200 block of Pleasant Ave. about a residential burglary that had just occurred.
