On Friday, in the case of 33-year-old Jeremy J Seroka of Streator, a motion was made asking the court to order the prosecution not to admit certain facts or evidence in the presence of the jury. Whether or not the motion is granted will be learned at a final pre-trial court date set for Feb 2nd, 2024. A trial date is set for February 5th at 10:00 a.m., with Judge Cynthia Raccuglia presiding.
Seroka has been in La Salle County jail since January 6th for possession of cocaine, a class X felony. He faces between 3 and 25 years in prison.
