Subject: Nominees for The Chamber’s Board of Directors
After solicitation of our membership, incorporating their suggestions for nominees to the Board of Directors, our Nominating Committee has met and submitted its recommended selections to the Executive Committee. The nominees are as follows:

Our bylaws provide the opportunity to our general membership to petition for alternative nominees in the following manner:
Article IV/Section 2(B): Nominations by Petition
“…Additional names of candidates for Directors can be nominated by petition bearing the genuine signature of at least ten(10) separate qualified members of the Chamber. Each such petition shall be filed with the Executive Director within ten(10)days after notice of the names of the nominated slate has been mailed. The determination of the Executive Director as to the legality of the petition(s) shall be final.”
All candidate nominations, if any, for the Ottawa Area Chamber Board of Directors must be received at the Chamber office no later than close of business on Monday, November 6, 2023, the nominations will be closed, and the nominated slate of candidates shall be declared elected by the Board of Directors at their regular November Board meeting.
