33 year old Jeremy J Seroka of Streator has been locked up in La Salle County jail since his arrest January 6th for possession of cocaine, a class X felony. He and his Public Defender will appear before Judge Cynthia Raccuglia tomorrow (October 27th) for a status hearing, which will likely be final meeting before trial.
Bond for 15 grams of cocaine but less than 100 was set at half a million dollars in the case which Seroka has been unable to pay. The case is being tried by Assistant State’s Attorney Ryan Cantlin.
If found guilty by a jury, Seroka could face over 3 years in prison.
