The Powerball jackpot has, once again, jacked up. There have been no winners in the 45-state game in more than two months. The pot for this Monday is $1.04 billion, the world’s ninth-largest lottery prize of all time. The largest jackpot was a $2.04 billion Powerball prize won by a player in California in November 2022. No one has won Powerball since July 19.

Saturday’s drawn numbers were: 19, 30, 37, 44, 46, and red Powerball 22.

The odds of having the 5+ Powerball number is 1 in 292,201,338; one number and Powerball number is 1 in 91.98; and the odds of winning the Powerball number alone is 1 in 38.32.

One option for a single winner is to receive payments through an annuity over 30 years. Most winners usually take the cash option; this Monday, one winner could take home an estimated $478.2 million. Winnings are always subject to federal taxes. Many states also tax lottery prizes.

Based on how many numbers you match, there are nine ways to win Powerball prizes in every draw. You can win $4 just for getting the Powerball. Have all five numbers plus the Powerball and win the money. The top prize starts at $20 million and increases every time no one wins. If there are multiple jackpot winners, it will be shared equally between them.

In most states, a Powerball ticket costs $2, and players can select their numbers or ask for a computer-generated Quick Pick. 45 States plus Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands play Powerball.
