Mary Jane (Rutherford) Rohr, 82, of Ottawa, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa, with Rev. Duane Kaufman, officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Mary was born on May 6, 1941, in Princeton to Porter and Dorothy (Fletcher) Rutherford. She married Curtis Rohr on July 31, 1960, in Mendota. Mary was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W., and Memorial Association.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis Rohr, of Ottawa; two children, Gary Rohr and Sandra Rohr, both of Ottawa; five grandchildren, Taylor Rohr, Nicole Pitstick, Amber Kappelman, Tiffany Goetz, and Benjamin Broadus; 9 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Mahnesmith, of Buda, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Porter and Dorothy Rutherford; two brothers, James Rutherford and Gene Rutherford; a sister, Jeanette Underwood; a grandson, Donald Broadus; and a great-grandchild, Edward Jericho Kappelman.
