Ottawa, IL – The LaSalle County Health Department received confirmation that mosquitoes from Streator
tested positive for West Nile virus. The mosquitoes were collected on August 28th and Environmental
Health staff conducted the confirmatory test on the mosquitoes at the Health Department.
