Jimmie Arthur Watts, 71, of Harding, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. Funeral services with at 11 a.m. Thursday at Oakwood Memorial Park with Bud Leipold officiating.
Jimmie was born January 9, 1952, in Kankakee, IL, to Jimmie Arthur and Hazel (Armstrong) Watts. On August 24, 1974, he was married to Julie Rowney of Ottawa who survives.
He was employed by Caterpillar until his retirement. Jimmie drove the school bus for Serena Unit 2 school district for 12 years. He enjoyed motorcycles, drag racing, and hobby model airplanes.
He is survived by his wife, Julie; three children, Austin (Jaclyn) Watts, Jeffrey Watts, and Ashlynn (Christopher) Pinnell; four grandchildren, Adalynn and Alexzander Watts, and Gabriel and Lillith Pinnell.
Pallbearers will be Austin, Jeffrey, and Alexzander Watts, Christopher Pinnell, Quentin and Edward Green, and Ronald Cherry.
