Dale Robert McInerney Jr. 45, of Marseilles, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 2 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating.
Dale was born October 25, 1977, in Palos Heights, to Dale Robert Sr. and Deborah (Rapp) McInerney. He was married to Jessica Beldon, who preceded him in death in 2019.
He was employed by Kellogg Concrete as a finisher. Dale was also a truck driver and a handyman who could fix anything. He enjoyed sports.
He is survived by his two sons, Devin, and Gavin McInerney; his parents, Dale and Deb McInerney; his sisters, Jennifer McInerney and Renee Taylor; his brother, Robert Sims; his five nephews; his son’s mother, Sarah Long Yankura; and his life partner, Lindsay Rubio.
His grandparents, Joseph and Hazel McInerney, Walter Rapp, and June Rettig preceded him in death.
