The Ottawa Elementary School District will have a special meeting next month to discuss a future plan at Lincoln Elementary School. This could include a discussion about bringing air conditioning to the school. It’s the only school in the district that doesn’t have it yet. Jefferson and McKinley Elementary Schools have had it installed this past school year because of federal COVID relief money. Supt. Michelle Lee told the school board Tuesday that most of the federal money has been paid out on geothermal improvements. The district is still going to do light construction which will be paid through its own money.
