Corrections officers at Sheridan Correction Center were thanked for their help with a two vehicle accident. LaSalle County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to an accident on Rt. 71 last Saturday. Corrections officers helped stop traffic and assisted those injured. They had just gotten off of a shift at the prison. Major Gasper, Sgt. French, Officers Balconi, Turner, Augustine, Renkosik, and Bujinowski were credited by the sheriff’s department for their help. The sheriff’s department posted the information on thier Facebook page.
