Marseilles Deputy City Clerk Catherine Strottner says this year’s Fun Days was her last. She’s retiring from helping put on the annual event for the last ten years. She says you need to have a passion for the city to want to help put on the event like she has for the last ten years. She says she saw how many people in the city are passionate about it after the 2013 flooding.
But she says even though she’s leaving, there is a wonderful group of people that will continue to put on the event.
This was the 51st year Marseilles hosted Fun Days.
