Maxine Eick
1925 – 2023
Maxine Eick, 97, of Ottawa, passed away on Tuesday night, June 20, 2023 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Cremation Rites will be accorded. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday July 1, 2023 at St. Columba Cemetery, with Father Jason Stone officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Maxine was born on August 12, 1925 in Streator to Fred and Dora (Rowe) Stone. She was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School. Maxine married Elmer Eick on
February 14, 1947, in Pontiac. She worked for Owens Illinois until her retirement and then at Walmart, as a greeter. She is survived by her brother Marvin Stone and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmer, brothers, Truman and Harold Stone, and four sisters-in-law Betty, Cecelia, Elsie, and Melita Stone.
