Thursday is the funeral for former Earlville Police Chief Darin Crask. He died at his home in Seneca this past Saturday. His obituary says Crask was an Ottawa High School graduate and member of the OHS football team inducted into the OHS Hall of Fame. After graduating college, he worked for the Marseilles Police Department as a K9 handler before later working for Seneca Police. He first became the Lostant Police Chief before becoming police chief in Earlville in 2018. He is survived by his daughter, parents, brother, and nephews.
