The newest LaSalle County Board Member is Gelinda Heller. She’s filling the rest of the term for the 11th County Board District after the death of Joseph Witczak last month. Heller says before she decides what she wants to accomplish, she wants to learn more about the board first.
She lives in Peru and represents the middle of the city. She says she is thinking about running for the seat the next time it’s up for reelection. She was sworn in during yesterday’s county board meeting.
