Poco a Poco summer music classes are underway in Streator. Its eight days of music instruction for students in grades eight through twelve who want to continue their music education. Executive Director Kate Tombaugh says there are a lot of returning students.
She says twelve students will take other classes too from guitar to learning different vocal exercises. The first day was this past Saturday but continues this week. Tombaugh says the first concert called the Faculty and Friends Concert for the program is tomorrow at 7pm at Park Presbyterian Church. Other concerts will be at Streator High School and the More on Main Café.
