A man’s death in the 1000 block of Marcy St. in Ottawa is now being investigated as a homicide. Ottawa Police Chief Brent Roalson said a man was found dead in the 1000 block of Marcy St. Tuesday evening. His body was taken to the McLean County morgue where an autopsy was done. Two people of interest were arrested by Ottawa Police in the investigation. Roalson says the incident is isolated and there is no threat to the public. Ottawa police recieved help from the LaSalle County coroner’s office, LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s Office, LaSalle County Sheriff’s Deputies, Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Agents, and Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services.
