Oglesby EMS praised for learning new protocol in case of SMH closure

Oglesby Commissioner Terry Eutis says EMS workers have had to learn over 400 pages of new protocols. That’s because St. Margaret’s Health Spring Valley could be closing it’s doors next Friday. All transfers will have to be taken to either St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Ottawa or St. Paul’s in Mendota. Eutis praised the EMS workers for all their hard work in learning the new protocols. The council and residents applauded their efforts after Eutis finished his statement during last night’s city council meeting.
