A Streator man accused of shooting at a Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Agent has a new lawyer. 20-year old Courtney Perkins is now represented by Charles Snowden. He had been represented by the public defender’s office and also tried to represent himself for some time. Judge H. Chris Ryan wants to give Snowden some time and set a status date for July 27th. Perkins allegedly shot at the Trident Agent while his alleged partner, 26-year old Alaina Cravatta, was being arrested after she allegedly sold drugs to the agent. Cravatta is accused of aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. She’ll be back in court later this month.
