Juvenile to face charges after alleged police pursuit in Streator

Streator Police say a juvenile is in the hospital after an alleged police chase Friday. Deputy Chief Robert Wood says the juvenile fled the wrong way on Monroe St. on a motorcycle after a police officer tried to pull the young person over. The motorcycle eventually crashed into another vehicle at the intersection of Main and Monroe Streets. Wood says the juvenile will face charges once released from the hospital. He didn’t say how old the juvenile is.
