The city of Marseilles approved a new dispatch agreement between them and the Marseilles Fire Protection District. Commissioner Bobby Kaminski says the district pays some of the dispatching fees because they work with the city. Usually the district is given a flat rate for fees but this time it was broken down by population.

The agreement says the district will pay $25,000 and it will increase 3% every year for the next five to seven years. The district will also be in charge of replacing their radios and some equipment. The city will pay the rest of the $160,000 in fees.
