Weekly COVID update: no deaths for a third week, current cases falling

There were no new deaths from COVID-19 in LaSalle County for the third week in a row. The LaSalle County Health Department is still tracking the numbers even after the Public Health Emergency Declaration ended Thursday. There were 22 new cases this week and have been 37,485 total cases so far. There were 630 current cases this week, which is down from 680 last week. The health department ranks the county at the low level now for the hospital admission level.
