A Streator man will represent himself during his child pornography case. 43-year old Ryan P. Cook was charged in 2021 with having child porn and sharing it among multiple electronic devices. Judge Cynthia Raccugila allowed Cook’s lawyer to withdraw from the case during Tuesday’s court appearance. He’ll be back in court in two weeks. Cook wasn’t able to make it to his last court date for jury selection because of a medical emergency. Raccuglia declared a mistrial and dismissed the jurors.
