An Ottawa man has been charged with battery after he allegedly hit an Ottawa High School baseball coach last week. Ottawa Detective Sgt. Scott Harden says Andrew Mucci was cited after the incident. Harden says Mucci was upset with a coach after a decision he made. School resource officers intervened and took Mucci to be booked at the Ottawa Police Department. According to online court records, no official charges have been filed by the LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s Office.
