A passerby found a dead person east of St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Ottawa Monday morning. Ottawa Police say they were able to move the dead person from a wooded area in the 1400 block of E. Norris Drive. The body was taken to the McLean County Morgue for an autopsy that was done Tuesday morning. Ottawa Police Detective Sgt. Scott Harden says no foul play is suspected. The cause of death is not known. The name of the person won’t be announced until next of kin are notified.
