Here’s an award you’ve might never heard of. Debra Lane, the township property assessor for the Meridan, Ophir, and Troy Grove Townships, was recently awarded the 2023 Marshall Theroux Memorial Award at the Illinois Property Assessment Institute’s Annual State Conference. The award is given to a person with a long career in property assessment, her contributions to the job, and her dedication to her community. Lane has over 25 years of experience in property assessment. She is also a member of the LaSalle County Township Officials Board of Directors and a member of the LaSalle County Zoning and Appeals Board.
