Sexual assault victim advocate talks about what consent is

For Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Safe Journeys Director of Community Engagement Melissa Engel talked to us about certain bad behaviors some people need to unlearn. For starters, there’s taking no at face value.

Engel says consent should be spoken and freely given. And it’s revocable.
