Ottawa High School finished in third place in Class A in the Illinois High School Association’s music contest. The solo and ensemble contests were held on March 4. The organizational contests were yesterday and today in various locations across the state. OHS scored 766.5 points altogether.
In class B, Princeton ranked ninth with 357 points. Mendota placed 18th with 219.
In class D, Newark tied with Sesser in southern Illinois for 21st with 48 points.
