A Princeton man turned himself in at the Bureau County Sheriff’s Department Thursday in a sex abuse case filed in LaSalle County. Twenty-three year old Justin G. McIntire is charged with having inappropriate contact with someone in his or her early teens.
The incident happened in Ottawa on or about December 18. Someone reported it to Ottawa police in January. That prompted an investigation that spanned two counties.
McIntire is free with a notice to go to court. His court date is next Thursday.
