LaSalle County Democrats going to next year’s Democratic National Convention won’t have to go far. Local party chair Kathy Ford says it’s exciting that it’ll be in Chicago.
Ford says some members are already asking about going as delegates. She wants to be among them. And she’s sure Pres. Joe Biden will get the party’s nomination to run again.
Wherever a convention is, the party has the work of registering voters, making sure they vote, and supporting its candidates.
