A grand jury today approved a reckless conduct charge against 63-year old Richard Venegas of LaSalle. That’s in connection with a shooting at Mickey’s Massive Burritos in LaSalle that put owner Mickey Venegas in a Rockford hospital three weeks ago. Authorities don’t believe the shooting was intentional. The charge of reckless conduct is written to say the person charged should have known better than to do what he did. Richard Venegas is to be in court next week.
