LaSalle Police say a two month old child died Monday. Detective Sgt. Brian Camenisch says police were called to the 700 block of 7th St. because the child wasn’t breathing. The two month old was later pronounced dead at St. Margaret’s Health Spring Valley. Although the child’s family isn’t cooperating with law enforcement agencies, no foul play is suspected. The incident is still under investigation by several agencies including LaSalle police, the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s Office, and the Bureau County Coroner’s Office.
