For a second week in a row, there were no new deaths from COVID-19 reported in LaSalle County. That means the death count from COVID in LaSalle County remains at 513 so far. The LaSalle County Health Department also reported a drop in current cases for the second week in a row. There were 834 current cases this past week compared to 899 last week. There were 48 new coronavirus cases reported with 113 recoveries this week. There have been 37,140 new cases so far with 36,306 recoveries. The county remains at the low community spread level according to the Centers for Disease Control.
