A dog park is on the agenda for the Oglesby Park Board. It’ll meet at 6:30pm next Thursday, March 30 at City Hall. Mayor Dominic Rivara asked for such a meeting to get a recommendation on where to put a dog park.
Commissioner James Cullinan feels there’s been enough talk about it and it’s time to act. He says the park board couldn’t decide where a dog park should go. That led to a stalemate on that and several unrelated issues at this week’s city council meeting.
A recommendation next Thursday could be on the City Council agenda for the following Monday.
Update: The original announced meeting time was 6pm. On March 27, Oglesby City Hall announced that it has been changed to 6:30pm due to a scheduling conflict.
