Ottawa photographer Annette Barr is holding a local-only version of the Pooch Playoffs this year. The local winner named Birdy came in second in an international contest last year. Barr’s asking for 16 pets to be photographed for online voting on which is the cutest. The $125 entry fee supports the Second Hand Ranch’s low-cost spaying and neutering services from Princeton to Morris.
Barr wants to raise $2,600. While it’s called the Pooch Playoffs, she’s willing to consider other animals for it.
