St. Margaret’s Health says it’s been meeting with a larger health system about a takeover. It’s not saying who the potential buyer is. But SMH has hired Juniper Advisory of Chicago to look for other partners in case there’s a better deal. The announcement about this doesn’t talk about closing the Peru hospital two months ago or whether the hospital may reopen.
