The local Habitat For Humanity Board of Directors has started the Lee McCullough Lifetime Achievement Award. McCullough is from Peru and is being honored for outstanding volunteer service for the LaSalle-Bureau-Putnam counties Habitat For Humanity chapter. The organization’s announcement says McCullough’s perseverance sustains the organization, his devotion is inspirational, and his personal qualities made him a loved and respected treasure. McCullough has worked on local home builds. But he’s traveled five continents for them too.
